Preliminary Exercise 3: Elements of mise en scene

 The concept of mise en scene in the film is everything in a film has a place there sets, props, costumes, actors, and lighting they all contribute to making a film. The purpose of mis en scene it allow the director to covey the message and it allows the scene to come together if the lighting is dark that can send a message like it is night or something bad is going to happen the way the element is set up can tell you a different story. The elements of mise en scene are set design, lighting, color, and composition. in  'All the Bright Places" not because anyone says they are fine is how they are people go through things and sometimes they don't know how to deal with it so they shut down when u meet the right person they can bring the light back to your life but when they're gone everything falls apart and you don't know who you are or what you are even doing here anymore.

mise en scene is the feature in a movie like the setting props lighting.

  

The setting is a family have his party in the kitchen

 

 his hair is slicked backed 

the color is blue, yellow, and purple 

 

his costume the props he uses  

the composition is the structure something is made up of 

the lighting is light than dark to have that mystery felling
