Preliminary Exercise 4: Analyzing Mise en scene

Mise en scean is the arrangement of elements in a story like the; composition, sets, props, actors, costumes and lighting. The assignment is to learn how the elements of mise en scean influence the visual messages within the frame of our film. The name of the movie is Barbie, the genre is fantasy comedy. A groped of girls are shocked when they see a really big life size Barbie doll. Some of the props were dolls the little girls were dressed in a drown dress it was very bright outside. One of the feelings was sadness when she realizes being just "Barbie" is not something she wants to be anymore.
