The importance of media studies is to better understand media like shows or outdoor media as in what do they do and how do we use them in a everyday bases. One thing I use a lot would be Netflix after a long day I just want to lay down and watch my favorite shows, it would be engaging for someone around my age because we all just want to get aways sometimes and just focus on something different things than our everyday lives. 3 things I find interesting about media studies is;
-Learning about the different medias
-Learning about the different things it takes to make a movie
- Learning about the different ways media is interpreted
The type of media I will be documenting is a movie/film. The type of film I would like to create is a thriller. I would like to create it more for the teens because I think they will relate to it more than any other age groups. The message I would like to send is how sometimes trusting in the wrong people can leave you hurt in the end. Somes things I need to learn to create my film is how to edit and the different types of people that will work well to send my message across.
To choose the right equipment by doing that it helps get a clear image of everything that's going on and it helps to send what type of film I'm doing. Next to choose the right type of people to portray my storyline and have the right type of emotions. To make plan on how I want my film created so that the story line is not all over the place an nobody knows what's going on. Last things are pre-production to make sure everyone knows what's going on and what part to play also rehearsals so nobody's confused when its the actual day to film.
