Structure of the film opening

Analysis
The opening sequence begins with the production company logo and a l cut off screen sound of a character addressing someone. The screen cuts from black to picture and an establishing shot of dimly lit, interior room devoid of color. Next, the director subtly introduces Crumb a multi personality character, using a pan movement set at a low angle to showcase his power in the opening scene.
