Sound in the film is the music, sound effects, dialogue, etc... Sound in the film sets the tone or the theme for the scene or the whole film. What you hear when you watch a film is music, dialogue, and background noise. Sound supports the genre, setting, and characters by helping us understand the emotions of a character and how they are feeling.
